Team 9072 – TigerBots
Team 1731 – Fresta Valley Robotics Club
Team 2421 – RTR Robotics
Team 422 – Mech Tech Dragons
This team stood out to our volunteers for their willingness to go with the flow, and be gracious while doing it. Their new students handled match replays, broken intakes, and grinding gears without dampening their spirits. Congratulations to Team 422, the Mech Tech Dragons!

The CRI-ogenic Award celebrates a mentor that has made a profound impact on the community, and if we could, should be frozen and saved for more generations to come.
This mentor’s voice can be heard from miles away. His patented “SHOOOOOT” or “CLIMB CLIMB CLIMB” in clutch moments keeps alliances in check. Off the field, he’s the person to ask if you need any part, or help fixing things in a hurry. We are happy to recognize Ray Gertsner, Mentor of Team 888!

The Chill Out Award goes to a volunteer whose dedication, energy, and willingness to take on all the things has made an incredible impact on the Chesapeake District. We’re so grateful for the countless hours and effort you’ve poured into volunteering. Thank you for everything you do… now, please, take a deep breath, kick back, and chill out (at least for a little while).
This alumni is a constant fixture at our events. In the past year, they have been an equipment manager, field supervisor, FTAA, CSA, referee, and robot inspector. Their dedication to filling any vacancy is admirable. But really, chill out. Congrats and thank you to Alex Taber!
